SHEPHERD CONSORTIUM
The Shepherd Consortium is a proposal for a demonstration grant in higher education to support a eleven-school, five-year project for the study of poverty and human capability, the first of its kind in undergraduate education. In addition to Washington and Lee, Berea College, Georgetown University, Notre Dame, Middlebury College, Morgan State University, Morehouse College, Spelman College, the Unversity of Arkansas at Little Rock, the University of Richmond, and Vanderbilt University are members of the Consortium.
